  1. Ragamuffin – Michael Hedges Probably the “father” and muse  of most of the Acoustic Guitarists below. If you don’t know him please discover his discography and videos.
  2. Breaking Of The Shells – Billy McLaughlin Billy McLaughling history is a life inspiration.In 2001, Billy was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder called focal dystonia. Feeling utterly lost without his music and not willing to give up, McLaughlin began the unlikely journey of teaching himself to play in his signature style, left-handed!
  3. Everybody Needs One – Craig D’Andrea Craig D’Andrea is one of the younger faces you will find on the acoustic guitar scene but he isn’t playing like he’s 23 years old. In the third grade, Craig began his music inclination with the cello, which was later replaced by the baritone ukulele.  It wasn’t until 1999 that a high school friend introduced him to the acoustic guitar.  With the help of lessons, Craig was able to develop his technique and musical style, as well as discover his main influences such as Lindsay Buckingham, Don Ross, and Leo Kottke.
  4. Addisons Walk – Phil Keaggy Phil Keaggy is perhaps one of the most admired guitarists in music today. His fans range from those who aspire just to be able to play Keaggy’s mistakes, to professional musicians who have been strongly influenced by his style. And in between are those who don’t play guitar, yet find solace in his beautifully penned lyrics and memorable melodies.
  5. Coffee Break – Roberto Diana Roberto Diana is an Award Winning Musician, The first time I saw him live Coffe Break it blew my mind. His concert was amazing, surrounded by instruments  Acoustic and electric Guitars, Weissenborn, Vichitra Veena, baritone 8 strings guitars, dobro, banjo and bouzouki. He was totally absorbed in the stories behind every song. Love him.
  6. Memories Of The Future – Antoine Dufour Known colloquially among the best guitar players in the world To fans of popular music, he deftly combines jaw-dropping guitar playing skills and an artistic soul in crafting instrumental compositions that reflect ambient and progressive music that transcends global cultures and languages. That he does this in an incredibly visual and entertaining style has endeared him to a broad spectrum of fans of popular music.
  7. Overjoyed – Adam Rafferty “The first time I heard the guitar I was still in my mother’s womb.” says Adam Rafferty. I love this version of Stvie Wonder’s Overjoyed.
  8. Night After Sidewalk – Kaki King Well Kaki is Kaki, I saw her live few times and what can you say more? She’s the “King”! Love her playing her musicality and the concepts behind his music. And “August Rush” soundtrack? Come on! 🙂
  9. It’s Your Favorite – Jimmy Wahlsteen I discovered him thanks to the Spotify Algorithm that suggested me after Roberto Diana’s Album. Loving him a lot. Swedish guitarist Jimmy Wahlsteen plays the guitar using his own fingerpicking technique and personal sound over innovative open tunings.
  10. Tenderly – Emilio Bonito Same thing for Emilio Bonito, discovered after listening Roberto Diana. Emilio Bonito crafts intricate instrumental songs that fuse acoustic fingerstyle guitar with avant-garde, indie folk and pop culture influences.
  11. At The Saloon – Cary Bestwood I have not information about Cary Bestwood but I like this song, really peaceful and a nice melody.
  12. Wiseman’s View – Ken Bonfield Discovered on Spotify’s Peaceful Guitar Playlist. Fingerstyle Guitarist Ken Bonfield has performed throughout the United States for over 25 years. Based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, Bonfield is a regular at guitar festivals, concert series, and acoustic venues across North America, and has released eight albums.  Looking forward to attend one of his concerts.
  13. Altalenanze – Stefano Barone Another Candy Rat’s protege and on of the  Michael Hedges sons. Really great techniques and interesting melodies.
  14. A Thank You in Fives – Dylan Ryche Awarded Musician, Dylan crafts nice melodies with his acoustic guitar. Love this tune really peaceful for me, I think I included it in many of my playlists. 🙂
  15. That Old Familiar Pain – Trevor Gordon Hall Rated one of the top 30 guitarists in the world under 30 years of age by Acoustic Guitar magazine, Trevor is an instrumentalist from Philadelphia USA whose style ranges from edgy driving rhythms to delicate melodic themes. Love the harmonics start of this song.
  16. Canon – Trace Bundy Internationally-acclaimed guitar virtuoso Trace Bundy must be seen, not just heard. His music is poetry in motion, using harmonics, looping, multiple capos, and his unique banter and stage presence to deliver an unforgettable live concert experience. Listening to his intricate arrangements is one thing, but seeing the fan-dubbed “Acoustic Ninja” play live confounds even the most accomplished music lovers as to how one person can do all that with just two hands and ten fingers.
  17. One Quiet Night – Pat Metheny Pat Metheny is not only a guitar player but one of my favourited composers out there. His brain must be huge 🙂
  18. What a Friend We Have in Jesus – Brad Paisley Bred Paisley is an acclaimed country Singer Songwriter but also an amazing guitar payer. Love this instrumental song of him.
  19. A Groovy Kind of Love – Toni Wine;Carole Sager, Agustín Amigó “When I’m feelin’ blue, all I have to do is take a look at you, Then I’m not so blue.” says the original song  Love this instrumental cover. Agustín Amigó is a song writer, arranger and guitarist. Born in the Canary Islands, he moved at young age to Germany where he met Ulli Boegershausen. The German master encouraged him to play solo acoustic guitar and from that moment on Amigó started an astonishing journey of music creativity and own distinct style. Discovered him thanks to Roberto Diana again 😀
  20. The Reason – Andy McKee Andy McKee is one of the chief headers of the Acoustic Guitar reborn, I remember when he was out with his Candy Rat Video and I said: “Finally Michael Hedges music will be alive again.
  21. Tabula Rasa – Calum Graham At 27 years old, Calum Graham has already accomplished what most artists twice his age could only hope for. In 2014, Calum was named one of the World’s Top 30 Guitarists under 30 by Acoustic Guitar Magazine. His signature playing style has enthralled millions of listeners on YouTube and Spotify which has led to tours across Canada, USA, Germany, France, England, Scotland, Ireland, and China.
  22. Beauty of Discipline – Gareth Pearson

    Gareth Pearson is referred to as “The Welsh Tornado” which is particularly appropriate, seeing as this special talent combines fingerstyle pyrotechnics, with explosive lead runs making Pearson one of the most exciting acoustic musicians gigging today.

    Gareth has a distinctive style that can be heard through his creative and innovative arrangements which cover a wide spectrum of genres, including country/folk/classical/pop/rock/jazz/swing and bluegrass music, along with his own beautiful and often intricate original compositions. 

  23. 101 South – Peter Finger Peter Finger – Anyone who is at all interested in guitar music or, even better, acoustic guitar music, can hardly avoid this name. Starting as far back as the Seventies, Peter Finger has enjoyed an outstanding reputation internationally as an acoustic guitarist, and the music press has included him in the pantheon of the world’s best guitarists.
  24. Rylynn – Don Ross, Andy McKee Don Ross began playing guitar virtually by accident. He is a great musician composer and Guitar Player. A must.
  25. Movement I – Awakening – Maneli Jamal Award winning guitarist Maneli Jamal has wowed audiences around the world with his visual style of playing acoustic guitar. He incorporates many musical textures in his performances while keeping rhythm with his two hands but you’ll swear he has a trio with him.
